On June 9, 2018 the John McGivney Children's Centre (JMCC) celebrated our annual Superhero Fun Day a Play McGivney, our accessible playground. Everyone enjoyed great food, entertainment & some amazing activities. Participants were asked to dress up like their favourite Superhero & enjoy an awesome day of fun for all ages and abilities. This year, friends from Windsor Firefighters, Windsor Police Service, Essex-Windsor EMS and Enwin were on site for families to explore their vehicles, check out their gear & more. At the event, McDonald's presented JMCC with a cheque for $35,000 - JMCCs portion of the proceeds from McHappy Day 2018 on May 2.
