Parents United Program

Parents United: Parent to Parent Support
Many parents have told us that at different points in their lives, and especially  after finding out that their child will have special needs, they feel lonely and often isolated. Our Family Advisory Council created our Parents United program to connect parents wanting to talk about their experiences with another parent who has had similar experiences. The support is confidential and offers parents an opportunity to talk with someone who has walked in their shoes and truly understands what they going through.

If you are interested in learning more, or would like connect with one of our parent volunteers please let your child’s therapist know or call Beth Reidy in our Intake department at ext. 271.
