Dear friends,

Summer is here, and we welcome the beautiful weather, finally!

We are thrilled to move into Step #3 of the Roadmap to Reopen Ontario, and excited to see more staff, families and children in the Centre!

And more good news…The John McGivney Children’s Centre was awarded Exemplary Standing in April following a thorough assessment of our services by surveyors from Accreditation Canada - their highest award. At JMCC, we are committed to quality and safety in the delivery of our services and continuous improvement is integrated in our everyday practices. We participated in this Accreditation Canada review as an important exercise to ensure we are continuing to provide the highest quality services safely to children and youth with special needs and their families in Windsor and Essex County. JMCC Annual General Meeting and Annual Report 2020-21
Our amazing dedicated JMCC community of staff, volunteers, children, youth and their families, donors and community partners all came together demonstrating passion, adaptability and understanding during a year like no other. I am grateful to everyone as together, we ensured the essential services and supports we provide continued safely and effectively.
