Join Now: New Health Quality Ontario Committee

Health Quality Ontario has partnered with the Provincial Council for Maternal and Child Health to create a new advisory committee and they want you to join!

They are seeking volunteers interested in joining an Advisory Committee that will provide advice to support the development of a quality standard focused on transitions from youth to adult health care services.

The scope of this quality standard will include all clinical populations, including youth with special health care needs (physical, developmental and/or mental health). It will also include all health care providers and all paediatric and adult settings relevant to transitions and transfers of care. This includes primary care, hospital care, specialist care and social and community services. The quality standard will focus on the continuum of care from receiving paediatric health care services to preparing for a successful transfer to adult health care services.
