Dowler Karn Fueling Communities Giveaway: Vote for JMCC!

Dowler Karn is celebrating their 75th anniversary by giving back to the community and the John McGivney Children's Centre (JMCC) is in the running to receive some funding for our recreation therapy program (Read more on the program below). In order for our application for funding to be successful, we must have 50 or more people support our project. More about Recreation Therapy at JMCC: At the John McGivney Children’s Centre (JMCC), we are in the process of developing a recreation therapy program. This program will provide opportunities and support for children and youth with disabilities to enjoy the physical benefits of recreation as well as improve their social and communication skills, increase their self-confidence, become more independent and improve their overall health and well-being. All children and youth mature physically, socially and emotionally when participating in recreation and we are very excited about the positive impact our new program will have on our clients. Funding for this program will help us purchase necessary equipment, assist with transportation costs, help with promotion and program development and much more.
