Hi, I’m Chris. I’m 18 years old and I used to be a client of the John McGivney Children’s Centre (JMCC). I have been given a different perspective because of my disability. As my condition was mostly contained to my leg, most sports were out of the question. Over the years, I had to find something that I could do with my hands. For a while I drifted from hobby to hobby trying everything from writing fiction to playing the guitar, and none of them seemed to stick. Eventually I found something a little unorthodox: Tarot cards. For some reason, things like Tarot cards and palm reading seemed to stick more than any of the other things that I had tried. After some practice and exploration, I eventually expanded into other things of the same nature, and now I can tell fortunes over 30 different ways including, but not limited to: tarot cards, palm readings, tea readings, runes, dice and numerology, playing cards, and scrying (with a crystal ball or mirror).
