Message from the CEO – January 2022

January 10, 2022

To our families and the community,

As we enter 2022, I would like to extend my best wishes to all.

Everyone at JMCC is excited to continue strengthening our relationships with kids and families receiving our services, as well as with our colleagues throughout the Centre and our many community partners across the system.

In 2022, we will continue to build on our family-centered care model and our successes from our Accreditation review in 2021. We will be enhancing our current programs, starting some new programming, including the local OAP Entry to School program, and engaging in the development of a new strategic plan, which will signal our focus areas for the next few years.

COVID-19 remains an ongoing concern, with the Omicron variant presenting new issues, and we want to assure everyone that our top priority is providing critical services to children, youth, and families, in a safe and healthy way.  All of us at JMCC remain diligent in our strict health and safety protocols, which have served us well to keep everyone safe. These efforts allow JMCC to continue to provide services in-person and continue to be there when our clients and families need us the most in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. I invite you to learn more about how we’re continuing to keep everyone safe by visiting our COVID-19 updates news section.

I am optimistic about 2022, and confident that we will continue to grow and provide the best, most compassionate, and evidence-based services to kids and families. Our incredible JMCC staff are deeply committed to our mission: to provide family-centred holistic care to the community, enriching the lives of children and youth with special needs by helping them reach their full potential.

With deepest gratitude,

Jessica
