November 13th is Kindness Day. Will you #Call A Caregiver and let them know you care?
Many caregivers say they feel alone and isolated. While family members and friends often ask how the care recipient is doing, they don’t always think to ask how the caregiver is doing. Caregivers have told us this simple gesture of kindness can make the difference in their day.
The idea of the Kindness Campaign was brought to The Ontario Caregiver Organization by caregiver Sara Shearkhani. Caregivers like Sara have told them that just a small gesture of kindness goes a long way. A simple ‘how are you?’ can mean so much to someone who is having a difficult day.
