Come join in the fun at JMCC Summer Camp!
The John McGivney Children’s Centre is pleased to offer three summer camps at the Centre for the upcoming 2018 Summer! Camp activities include crafts, nature walks, swimming and various recreational activities.
Camp 1: July 9 to July 19; Cost: $275.00
Camp 2: July 23 to August 2; Cost: $275.00
Camp 3: August 7 to August 16 (This camp is 8 days due to civic holiday); Cost: $245.00
Camp Hours: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with drop off and pick up available from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
JMCC camp is for JMCC clients between the ages of 6 and 18 years old who present with a physical disability and are unable to attend community programs due to their high physical and medical needs. The camp is staffed by student camp counsellors and supervised by JMCC staff. Those families who require nursing care for tube feedings or suctioning may be required to pay an additional fee and may be eligible for only one camp. In order to provide a safe camp for all our campers, if your child presents with behavioural issues, they may be required to have additional supports, provided by the family.
