What are Seating and Mobility Services?
Seating and Mobility Services at JMCC help children and youth who need special equipment to sit properly, move around safely, and feel comfortable in their bodies. Some kids might have trouble sitting for long periods or walking on their own, and that’s where we can help.
Our team works with families to find the right equipment—like wheelchairs, strollers, or special supportive chairs. We make sure the equipment fits well, works properly, and meets each child’s unique needs. These tools help kids stay active, join in on daily activities at home, school, and in the community, and feel more confident and independent. Our goal is to improve comfort, safety, and quality of life every day.
