Managing ADHD in Children – free community workshop

Families, caregivers, and community members are invited to attend a free educational workshop focused on understanding and managing ADHD in children.

Presented by Regional Children’s Centre – Intensive Treatment Services, in conjunction with St. Mark’s by-the-Lake, this session will explore how ADHD and anxiety can affect children and provide practical, brain-based strategies to support their emotional well-being.

Participants will gain:

• A clearer understanding of ADHD, including assessment and treatment options
• Practical tools and strategies to support children at home and at school
• Helpful tips for managing attention, behaviour, and emotional regulation
• Insight into the connection between ADHD and anxiety
