The John McGivney Children’s Centre is currently seeking passionate and community-minded individuals to join several of our Board Committees. Committee members play an important role in supporting the Centre’s mission of enriching and celebrating the lives of children and youth with disabilities and helping ensure strong governance, meaningful community engagement, and high-quality services for families across Windsor-Essex.
We are inviting expressions of interest for the following committees:
Communications & Community Relations
Supports awareness, outreach, and community engagement efforts that strengthen connections with families, partners, donors, and the broader community.
Governance
Provides oversight and guidance on Board effectiveness, policies, and best practices to ensure strong leadership and accountability.
Quality
Focuses on service excellence, continuous improvement, and alignment with standards that support safe, responsive, and family-centred care.
Committee membership is a meaningful way to contribute your skills, experience, and perspective in support of children, youth, and families in our community. Individuals with diverse backgrounds and lived experiences are encouraged to express interest.
