We are off to an exciting start in 2019 here at the John McGivney Children’s Centre (JMCC). Effective January 30, we have moved from a discipline-based team structure to a program management model which will allow us to serve our clients and their families in the best, most coordinated and family-centred way possible.

This new program management model includes an outpatient care stream (staff providing services to clients in our Centre, in the home and in other community settings), a school-based care stream (staff providing services to clients in our community schools and through other special programs) and a key project management stream which will focus on policy maintenance and development, education, evaluation of practice and research.

Our new structure will allow for improved links between management, clinical professionals and our clients and families through partnerships and alliances directly aligned with the type of service each client is receiving. Additionally, it will allow us to operate in a more transdisciplinary way focusing on common, shared goals and a single, coordinated plan of care.

We invite you to review our new, updated organizational structure.
