The Stephanie and Barry Zekelman Foundation donates $200,000 to The John McGivney Children’s Centre

The Stephanie and Barry Zekelman Foundation has donated $200,000 to the John McGivney Children’s Centre (JMCC). 

“We are so thrilled about this incredibly generous donation,” said Jennifer Jovanovski, JMCC CEO.  “It will go towards supporting our highly-specialized rehabilitation and childhood development programs and services.”

The Stephanie and Barry Zekelman Foundation has been a long-time supporter of JMCC, beginning15 years ago with a capital campaign donation to expand and renovate the Centre.  Since then, the Stephanie and Barry and Zekelman Foundation has donated $310,000 to the John McGivney Children’s Centre.

“Their remarkable investments in JMCC help us in our ongoing commitment to ensuring kids and youth with disabilities and developmental differences receive quality, family-centred care in state-of-the-art facilities.”

The Centre’s family waiting area has been officially named the Stephanie & Barry Zekelman Foundation Family Waiting Area.
